04 Jan - Powder, clearing
Here is a picture of my study plot, nice to see some sunshine break out in the late afternoon. Unfortunately I did not get out today, and regret it. The storm has ebbed and the sky cleared into the afternoon with temperatures remaining nice and cold. Reports of great powder in areas not messed up by last night's wind. For now I have nothing useful to report regarding current instability. If anything, tomorrow's biggest risk factor is the weather: first clear day in a while with lot of desirable types terrain that have been untouched during the storm. Watch out for the blue-sky Human Factor, but enjoy what should be a great day in Hakuba's mountains.
That's all we have for today. Want more?
