Nothing to report here, it is warm. A moderate storm on the way with long-awaited cold air being the main feature, rather than intense precip.

The weather maps shows Dec 16th when the cold air is expected to push south from the Siberian High. It also demonstrates that places like western Nagano and Niigata need these systems, otherwise winters would be much milder and less snowy.
