12 Dec 2011 - light rain

It was relatively clear in town yesterday with very light rain as you climbed further into the mountains. I hiked in for a while and turned back as the intermittent drizzle increased and my boots broke me (for sale: near new Dynafit Titan Ultralight, size 26). Max valley temperature was +8C. Rain increased in the valley last night, which may have fallen as snow above 1500m (I'm guessing). Snowing lightly this morning. Forecast to clear for a few days with the anticipated first storm arriving on the 16th. So today's picture once again is of everyone's best friend.
