It was warm (+9C) and windy, with very isolated moments of light rain splatter. So I didn't go up. Instead I decided that my almost brand new boots just do not suit my feet (for sale: Dynafit Titan Ultralights. Size 26, good stiff boot, about 30% off Japanese retail price).

I do not know how high the warm and light rain went, I'll guess 2300m and edit the data later if I can find other evidence.

At 6pm last night our much awaited first little winter storm arrived as expected. On the weather map you can see how the Siberian dry cold airmass has pushed south into middle Japan at last. Wx data is available to the right.
