Back in Hakuba. I will write a full trip report in a few days when the weather turns nasty, until then I am having a go at one of the peaks above town, a solo trip with the dog. Greenland is very different. None of us had ever seen so much frozen ocean and icebergs before, its like nothing else.
Enormous thanks to my friends at Hakuba House for taking care of Lloyd for almost three weeks whilst I was away.
Nice to hear from you and missing Lloyd lots
It's Kaori here. Glad to hear you are back and happy for you you enjoyed the trip of 3 peaks. Such a beautiful picture!
I will see you soon and hopefully your jetlag will be over soon? Kaori
Good to see your back and getting into those big mountains you've been after, come down to Matsumoto when you have the time.

Never fly British Airways
Many airlines will go bust in the coming few years, BA deserves to be one of them. Stop flying wth them and make it happen.
We miss you Lloyd!
Great to hear you are back home and had a great time in Greenland.
We loved having Lloyd stay at Hakuba House and we got up to plenty of trouble together. We miss him already!... oh you too Damian.
Great photos and story about the climb of Shakushi Dake.
I am sure it's been done before but we managed to smuggle him in Mick's back pack up the gondola and cable car of Tsugaike for a short day trip in the back country. Then we went for a dip in the natural onsen near Happo. He also went for a bike ride (in the front basket of course) whilst visiting Kaori and Edgar in Matsumoto. Lloyd sure is well travelled.
Cheers
Sarah and Mick
Dog smugglers
Didn't you see the big "dame, no pets!" sign at the ticket office? I'm glad someone broke that rule.
Thanks for looking after him while I was away. See you back in Hakuba soon.
