Back in action

After a multiple day break from touring due to visitors and poor weather I was back out in action today. It felt good. Company was Eric and some of his Russian guests, including a heli-skji guide from Kamchatka in Russia.

Our objective was my favourite easy touring area (picture above - taken 4 days ago, looking better every time it snows more). It wasn't the right day for it so we hit various lines in the Tengupara area in the Hakuba backcountry, taking simple terrain and avoiding any loaded steep terrain that is a potential problem eight now.

It was a fun day of riding with boot deep powder.
