Wer have had two days of very enjoyable soft snow on Happo's north face bowls this week. Perfect weather, clear with no wind. On day one the group was myself, Mick & Sarah (from Hakuba House) Jeff and Matsumoto-san (from Hakuba's best mountain gear shop) . On our first run we found a small waterfall that had not quie filled in yet so our descent was interupoted looking for a route around it.
On day two it was only Jeff and myself. The final descent was the best snow and terrain I have ridden so far this season. Stable and fun.
