Sadly conditions are about as bad as they get here right now, at least for skiing. Last week we had 50cm of snow, then it warmed up a lot and rained to 2500m, with more days of warm. Overnight we had extreme winds in the alpine and a deeply re-frozen crust with a few cm of dust. The best hope for skiing is lower down where the corn cycle had taken over last week’s snow, though it also has a crust above isothermal slush.
