Today was Mio's birthday so we went out for some touring and thin fast and light powder. We had the area to ourselves and enjoyed the scenery and descent after kicking off a few new and very fragile cornices to clear the way of 10-20cm of unstable slab covering a small area near where we entered the line. We had a nice picnic at the end of the descent and then dug some snow pits on the way back up. If you stayed below 2000m and out of the wind, it was a very nice day.
