Tenki and Yuki Resources

Some people were not aware of the following resources.  When they found them, they were surprised and contacted me to comment on their usefulness, so I thought it worthwhile to mention them again on the front page.

Weather data charts for the Hakuba area.  Very useful for backcountry travel planning. This is updated every day and buy the end of teh season will provide a comprehensive set of time series.

I also plot snow profile charts.  Possibly useful if you intend on travelling in the Hakuba backcountry in the area that I dug a profile the previous day. In the future I will link to the  profile charts that I create using the Japan Avalanche Network  chart database (which is currently off-line)
