Hakuba weather and snowpack data for the 24 hours to 7am Jan 18: more of the same, cold, -10C lows overnight, light dusting of snow at 860m asl. Light winds. I have not been into the alpine for the last 2 days so can not comment on that altitude.
I will be out of Hakuba until next Thursday. IT agonises me to be away from the mountains, weather and snowpack for so long, but such is life. In that time comments are set to require checking by me before they appear.
