Just after sunrise on Tuesday Dec 17. Weather station data for the last 24 hours: it started to snow at about 8pm last night, still falling this morning at a rate of 3cm per hour, big warm flakes now although the overnight snow appears to have been quite light. Total water content of the new 20cm is 6%, or 51kg/m3 in density terms (more useful for understanding rate of loading)
