7am Thursday morning. The last 24 hours of weather was a good deal more settled with periods of improved visibility yesterday. A few cm’s of new snow overnight. It is still relatively colder. After two significant storms in 5 days its time I went and checked the snowpack at the tree line.

In the first month of the season Hakuba has received 201cm off cumulative snow fall (since the opening snow at my weather station, 860m asl)
