For the 2011/12 season Hakuba Alpine Guides is operating as a private service through referral only and will not be taking bookings from the public.

If you are a previous customer of Hakuba Alpine Guides or an experienced well equipped backcountry skier looking for some local guiding in new terrain and snowpack, please contact me (Damian) directly via this blog.

Of course, if you are an experienced backcountry skier visiting Hakuba, with good equipment and lots of self-guided experience across the world, please do not let the fact that I manage a guiding operation deter you from contacting me to meet up for local info and possibly a ski-tour partner. Since starting Hakuba Alpine Guides I noticed that far fewer visiting experienced backcountry skiers from around the world contact me. I consider that a personal loss.
